Oh, I’m sure this will really hack some people off… but what the heck! I’m writing my opinion, so here it goes…

Tonight I was reading several posts on an MLM message board, allegedly designed to discuss Scams- one of which, of course, was about the Numis Network scam. After reading several pages of posts, I decided that I had had enough with the trash-talking about how all MLMs or Network Marketing companies are scams.

Actually, I’d estimate that less than 10% of network marketing companies are truly “scams”. The reason why this industry has such a bad reputation, I believe, is due to the marketing methods used by many in the industry.

Why do people freak out when you say “Network Marketing”?

I know a lot of people that are involved in online network marketing and every day I see them peddling their work from home programs without much success. If you say hello to them on Skype they drop their recruitment link or links in to the conversation box before they even return the greeting. In many cases they don’t return the greeting. Personally, I wouldn’t do business with someone that doesn’t have the decency to acknowledge me. Would you?
