Oh, I’m sure this will really hack some people off… but what the heck! I’m writing my opinion, so here it goes…

Tonight I was reading several posts on an MLM message board, allegedly designed to discuss Scams- one of which, of course, was about the Numis Network scam. After reading several pages of posts, I decided that I had had enough with the trash-talking about how all MLMs or Network Marketing companies are scams.

Actually, I’d estimate that less than 10% of network marketing companies are truly “scams”. The reason why this industry has such a bad reputation, I believe, is due to the marketing methods used by many in the industry.

Even after over 60 years some people still just don’t get network marketing. Done properly, this is a totally legitimate and powerful business model. The naysayers would place emphasis on the high failure rate of people getting involved in network marketing business. Yes, 95% of people fail in network marketing, this is a statistical fact. But you need to remember that 95% of conventional businesses fail as well, so network marketing is not the problem… people are.
